Strong Start Program
The Strong Start program allows women to start their prenatal care early while their Medicaid application is being processed. Holy Family will provide prenatal care at no charge while your Medicaid is pending. This includes the initial OB interview with the nurse, physical examination, ultrasound, and follow-up visits. If you are denied for Medicaid, you will have to find a new provider but will NOT be billed for the care you have already received. (You may still be responsible for bills from outside labs.) Learn more about if you might be eligible for Health Insurance coverage under Medicaid.

Sweet Dreams Program
Through our Sweet Dreams  program, patients can earn a new crib and mattress. In order to earn the crib, patients must attend classes through Holy Family. The class topics include education on nutrition, breastfeeding, infant care and more. It’s easy to sign up! Just call Holy Family Prenatal Care at 937-228-4492 or ask at the front desk for more details. You must be a Holy Family Prenatal Care patient to participate. Not yet a patient?

Whole Woman Whole Life Program
Patients can attend a program for first-time mothers, which consists of five, 1-hour classes. The group assists in decision making, goal setting and preparing for motherhood. Patients receive a $50 gift card for completion. The program also provides participants with the opportunity to meet with other first-time mothers and share experiences.

Material Assistance
“Baby bucks” are awarded at each prenatal appointment. Both patients and fathers of the babies receive baby bucks, which can then be redeemed for baby items at our baby boutique. The baby boutique carries a variety of items including children’s clothing, cribs, equipment, diapers, formula, etc.

Social Services and Referrals
The social workers meets with all patients to explain our programs and services. She also provides information and referrals to assist in  meeting any additional emotional and material needs and to just see how you are doing during your pregnancy.
